1. Who we are and what this policy covers
Allcanza Inc ("Allcanza", "we", "us") provides a case-management and client-intake platform for immigration law firms. This policy explains how we handle personal information of:
- Law-firm users: attorneys, paralegals and staff who use Allcanza;
- Firm clients: people whose law firm invites them to an Allcanza client portal, or who reach Allcanza by phone or text about their case;
- Visitors to allcanzatech.com.
When we process a firm client's case information, we do so on behalf of and under the instructions of that client's law firm. The law firm decides what information is collected for the case and how it is used. Questions about your case or legal representation should go to your law firm.
2. Information we collect
- Account and contact information: name, email address, mobile and other phone numbers, mailing address, firm name and role.
- Case information entered by you or your law firm: for example identity and immigration history, family members, addresses, employment, and answers to government-form questions. This can include sensitive information such as immigration status, government identification numbers and criminal history, when your case requires it.
- Communications: messages in the portal; text messages; and, if you use our phone line, a recording and a transcript of the call.
- Consent records: when and how you agreed to receive text messages, including the wording you agreed to.
- Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and log data, collected through cookies and similar tools on our website and portal.
3. How we use information
- To provide the platform to law firms and their clients: preparing forms, organizing case information, and letting clients review and confirm their answers.
- To send service messages you asked for, such as reminders that questions or documents are waiting, appointment reminders and secure links to your portal.
- To verify identity before giving access to case information by phone or text.
- To maintain security, prevent fraud and misuse, and fix problems.
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use firm clients' case information for advertising.
4. Text messaging (SMS)
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, we use your number only to send the account and case messages described when you opted in. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts or HELP for help, or contact us using the details in section 12.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared with service providers who help us deliver messages or provide customer support. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase or of your law firm's services.
5. Phone calls and automated assistants
Our phone line may use an automated assistant that tells you it is automated at the start of the call. Calls are recorded and transcribed, and you are told this at the start of the call. Recordings and transcripts are kept with your case so your law firm can review your answers. Answers you give by phone are not final until you or your law firm confirm them.
6. How information is shared
We share personal information only:
- With your law firm, which is responsible for your case;
- With service providers that host our platform, deliver texts and calls, transcribe speech, or provide support, under contracts that limit their use of the information to providing services to us;
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users or others;
- In a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition, subject to this policy.
We do not share information with affiliates or third parties for their marketing.
7. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, keep the platform secure and understand how the website is used. You can control cookies in your browser; some portal features will not work without them.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Retention
We keep case information, including call recordings and transcripts, for as long as the law firm's account is active and as needed to provide the service, or as the law firm instructs, and then delete or de-identify it unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
10. Children
Allcanza is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them for marketing. Information about a minor may be entered by a parent, guardian or law firm when the minor is part of an immigration case.
11. Your choices
- Opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP.
- Ask your law firm to access, correct or delete case information, or contact us and we will pass your request to your firm.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law. Contact us to make a request.
